Summer Song 3 Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

JBTsWife: This cache has gone missing and I've decided to archive it rather than replace it to allow for other caches in the area (and because it will be a while yet til we see green on the nearby trees.) I'm pleased with what a nice run this cache has had. Keep on singing and summer will soon be here. Happy caching.

Geocache Description:

This is the third in a series of easy "song" caches inviting you to hum a happy tune as you enjoy the beauty of summer.

"I see trees of green, red roses too
I see them bloom for me and you
And I think to myself what a wonderful world."—recorded by Louis Armstrong in 1968. The recording was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 1999.

This particular cache invites you to sit awhile and look at several magnificent trees across the way. Rose bushes also bloom alongside the church in view.

Parking is available with meters on the street and at an adjacent parking garage.

The cache itself is a small magnetic key holder with log only and no room for trade items. It is placed in plain sight. Please be stealthy and replace it exactly as you found it. Please bring your own pen. At times, this area can be a high muggle area. As you sit, note the plaque in memory of MacDonald Heebner Junior. Among his many accomplishments, he gave decades of distinguished service to Boy Scouting and loved nature.

In keeping with the summer "livin' is easy" series, the hint below is a giveaway.

FYI--my husband, JBT, knows nothing about these caches (surprise, dear!) but I hope he'll be among those who enjoy them while I'm traveling out of town. To assure everyone that there was no advance notice to JBT, I'm hereby asking him to wait until someone else gets the FTF before he visits the caches. And congratulations to the FTF (whoever you may be!) Happy adventuring to all!
