Talvisodan aikana yrittivät venäläiset lentäjät tuhota vieressä olevaa rautatiesiltaa siinä kuitenkaan onnistumatta. Eräs epäonninen tuntematon venäläinen lentäjä, joka yritti sillan tuhoamista tuli alasammutuksi koneensa kanssa, on haudattu tähän hautaan.

fired down is buried in this grave.

Heading towards the geocache, maybe is good idea, to bring along a coffee pot and something to fry on a camp-fire, and why not a fishing rod as well. The place is one of the rest stops along the UKK hiking route.
