Rattlesnake Dick's Lost Treasure Traditional Cache
Kocoa13: I'd hate to do this, but with the uniqueness of this cache I'll need to archive it if it is missing. I'm sure it is because it was a really easy find. Happy haunts ol' Dick.

A local legend states that in 1856 Richard Barter A.K.A.
Rattlesnake Dick and his buddies in crime cached 40,000 dollars
worth of gold somewhere in the Rattlesnake Bar region! Rumor has it
that when a new trail was built between Rattlesnake Bar and Avery's
Pond a new route to the loot was opened up!
It is said that wily old Rattlesnake Dick hid his gold behind a
boulder in a well marked ammo can, what luck! It is about 20 feet
from the new trail, be careful it is slick! There is a chance that
Dick didn't want his treasures accosted by modern day treasure
hunters so he put it out in the wilds where snakes, ticks and
poison oak thrive, keep your eyes open and good luck finding the
gold!
