Capo Comino is situated along the road S.S. 125, between Posada and Orosei.
Capo Comino is known for the series of bays and beaches, located in front of Ruja Island. Going to the Cape itself, the landscape changes, presenting a rocky coast. In the east end is located the Lighthouse of Capo Comino.
Capo Comino is distinguished for the famous pink rocks and the view on the coast in the vicinity of the old lighthouse.
The cache is a normal size plastic box. Inside there are the log-book with pen, map of Sardinia Island, keychain heart shape and a fridge pin.
Till now more than 500 geocachers found the cache, hidden in this unexpected place.
On August 5th 2016 a dedicated maintenance has been carried out: the third log-book has been added in a new container.
If you want to take advantage of the classic Sardinian hospitality, you can stay at the B & B "Angolo delle Rose", located about 10 km from here, in the charming village of Saint Lucia. I spent several enchanting days over there.
