Geocache Description:

This cache was put out for Dairy Daze 5 as 1 of 4 saluting the Dairy cow breeds.

The Ayrshire is a smart large breed with a good temperament. They are very adaptable to change. They are red and white in colour.
Their milk is high in butter fat and protein. The fat in their milk is in smaller particles so it is evenly distributed in the milk making it excellent for cheese and yogurt making.
