***The cache is located in the Sierra National Forest, but you will need to enter and pass through Kings Canyon National Park or Sequoia National Park, which requires an entrance fee of $20. This cache may also not be available during winter months due to the road gate being closed. Please check if the gate is open for Highway 180 before attempting to retrieve during winter months.
This cache is placed for the up and coming Fresno County Quadrangle challenge. I needed to place this one for the Cedar Grove quadrangle 7.5 minute map. There is plenty of parking located at the trailhead of Deer Cove.
The description size for this cache is "other". It is a flat cache. No that is not chewing gum, it's putty to keep the bag attached.
Please bring your own pen or pencil.
No need to head up the trail for this one.
