Fourth in the Cranham series of caches.
The Cranham series involves an energetic 5 mile walk around 8 caches in order to obtain coordinates for the bonus cache back in Cranham.
From Oliver's take the path to the left of the willow tree, alongside the millpond and Painswick Stream to Damsells Mill.
Damsells Mill dates from 1674 and was one of sixteen mills on the Painswick Stream. Now a private house, it has at various times served as a cloth mill and a corn mill.
A local resident wrote some years ago, "It was my father's habit to walk to Damsells Mill to have a smoke each evening. While standing quietly there he told me he frequently saw a ghostly coach and horses galloping across the field in the distance. Whenever it appeared the other horses in the field used to gallop away."
