Der Hacklsee liegt auf einer Höhe von ca. 2200 m und ist von Niedernsill über das Mühlbachtal zu Fuß in ca. 3 bis 4 Stunden erreichbar.
Oder: mit dem Bike bis zur Schaunberg-Mitteralm (ca. 1,5 h) und dann zu Fuß (ca. 1,5 h) zum Hacklsee.
