How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

Camoed coffee containers large enough for any TB and small stuffed animals, etc. BYOP although a pencil is in there but if you intend on getting the other caches in the area your own pen is needed. Read the long description before attempting the other caches. Place log back in bag.

Please read all notes before going out to assure an exciting and fun experience for you and my caches.

We, (HsSrvnt / LostNFound / FthrsJoy / JCSaves), wanted to help you get out and enjoy the beautiful creation we were given so we “claimed” a mountain and put a bunch of caches on it for your enjoyment. This is a chance to experience an area, enjoy a game (Geocaching), get some exercise (of the brain and body), and take a couple days to get some good smiley’s.

Note: this is a wooded area and while I tried my best to get all the coordinates to be right on they may be off a bit. I have retested some of the caches on other days and while it seemed my coords were off they went to the right spot after a short wait. Please enjoy the placements. This is NOT a caching experience for the faint of heart. If you don’t like a challenge, hiking or seeing this beautiful country – DON’T attempt these caches. Some are easy finds, and some are definitely a challenge both to the mind and body.

I rated these all at a terrain of 3+ due to the road conditions and some of the hiking conditions. Most caches are by the road but I would not consider them to be “drive-bys” in the sense of them only taking a few seconds. Some will take some time to get and it is HIGHLY advised to wear very good shoes/boots. Sticky tread works best for grip. Winter travel, when snow is on the ground, or rain is or has just come through may make some/all caches unobtainable. I did take my car to every point but it does take some negotiating of the road, rocks, ruts and trees to get there and back safely and problem free.

You have thus been forewarned so please keep your comments fun and about your experience. If you get bothered by a cache, try it again another day. I will help with hints if you need it. They are placed to give a challenge but also for you to be able to grab each one you came out for. I ask that you please respect each cache and keep all items with each one and place each one back in the spot it was first intended to be in. Contents inside are for trade….

There is a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place “ribbon” certificate in each cache for all of you that are itching to collect the FTF’s.

On a special note: I placed all of the caches in PO and should be thorn free spots.

I apologize to anyone in advance who may find it difficult to get around without some type of aide. Most of these caches definitely require use of all four limbs.

Posted pics of your adventures are encouraged….SO, go out and enjoy the fruit of our labor and keep your feet on the Rock.

Congrats to Highland Hounds for the FTF
CONGRATS to FatNinjuh for completing the Merty Mountain & ABC Challenge who won the $20 dinner.
