One in a series along a 2 mile stretch of the Stratford-on-Avon canal and into the village of Wilmcote
The first if starting from the Stratford end.There is limited parking by the canal bridge. The nearby Stratford park and ride is no longer free but only costs £1 all day as long as you use the ticket machines after 0900 (( 9am )
The area is busy in Summer and due to the function of the hide it may be difficult to access for short periods ( 10 minutes ) it will be very obvious when this is the case.
Some degree of stealth will usually be necessary especially in Summer when the canal is busy with boats.
The towpath is a popular dog walk.
Take care of the geokids as the canal is close by.
If starting in Wilmcote there are two pubs with large car parks and limited parking at the canal bridge in Featherbed Lane.
