Geocache Description:

A quick dash and cache. There is plenty of room for parking. You are looking for a magnetic cache with a log book only, please bring your own pencil.

A short distance west of the bridge (known locally as the iron bridge) was the Lowestoft sleeper depot. Vast quantities of sleepers were treated here with creosote and stored in large stacks. Railway tracks can still be seen in the tarmac today.
