Town of Niles set off from Sempronius in 1833 first settled in 1792. Named from Elder Robert Niles a pastor of the First Baptist Church of Sempronius. Our Home Town!!!

This cache which is an ammo can which is placed on a rural road in the Town of Niles and is a quick multi stage cache. The ammo can is stocked with trade items and we would ask that you trade fairly when visiting. Please feel free to take a geocoin if you have one to trade and leave one if there is not one as this will be a safe location. I have always thought this was a good location for a cache and this Seaway Trail can has allowed me a reason to set one here.
Once at the sign you will find the info you need to
complete the search
Take the following and figure the position of the can.
Take the year that Niles was set off from Sempronius and subtract 1709 This will give you the last three digits 42.50.xxx
Then take the year that Niles was settled and subtract 1009 and you will get the three digits for the following 076 24.xxx

There are two accesses for the can …one easier than the other. The off main road is a safer approach
Congrats to poorfarmerbob for making the snatch this morning. He is a member of Crazy Cachers U.S.A.
