This is our first cache "seeded" on Prince Edward island. We have driven by here for several years and finally, today, we drove in hoping to drop a cache. Luckily for us the owner of the property was there and she was only too happy to oblige.
WE encourage geocachers to seek this little jewel of a place in the SUMMER.
This little church has a lot of history. It's main function at the moment is to offer a place for quiet meditation. It was originally built by the Bible Christians in 1860, but since that time has served several denominations ( R.C., Baptist, Anglican, etc.). For the older visitors and residents, they may remember seeing this little church at Jewell's Country Gardens in York until 1997.
The Little Church at Beaver run was dedicated to St. Christopher, the patron Saint of Travelers at a very special gathering.
The owners encourage visitors to drop in to see this unique and historic little church.
