Terrain is rated 2.5 for distance, overgrowth, and bloodsuckers. If you go the right time of year you can downgrade that to a two (lack of bloodsuckers and a fresh mow help). This is the first cache that Stumps.B3 was involved in placing. He was two weeks old at the time of the placement and said, “lacepgah tigah erehgah apgah”. We interpreted this as, “Place it here, Pa”
This cache is placed approximately 800 feet from our Silver Anniversary Cache #3 "No Parking" (at a bearing of 123 true). In winter you may be able to see one from the other. But as they say in the bottomland, "Can't get thar from harr".
Archery Closings
Hello, This is a friendly note from the Boone County Conservation District that during the archery hunt season, Kinnikinnick, LIB, Distillery, Kishwaukee Bend, Beaver Bluffs, and Piscasaw Fen Conservation Areas will be CLOSED to the general public on Saturdays and Sundays in the months of October through January.
As this cache is located in the LIB Conservation area, please consider it disabled for the above weekends. I think the BCCD is doing a wonderful job establishing this area as multi-use. Please respect their effort.
