Geocache Description:

The given co-ordinates will take you to an area in the Waikanae Estuary Scientific Reserve.
There are a variety of access points and GZ can be reached without getting wet feet.


There has been a tremendous amount of mostly volunteer conservation planting in this area recently
Please respect new plantings when accessing.
GZ is a one litre systema container
The views of Kapiti Island and the Estuary are worth the walk.

Be aware that there is unfenced water in the estuary if you have small children and the GZ is visible to passing muggles so a degree of stealth is required.
Please replace the cache container so it isn’t visible to passersby.
