I was taking my daughter to her art class and was inspired to place a series dedicated to my favoirte artists. I hope you enjoy the 11 caches in this series.
Hieronymus Bosch, Dutch; born Jeroen Anthoniszoon van Aken c. 1450 – buried August 9, 1516) was an Early Netherlandish painter. His work is known for its use of fantastic imagery to illustrate moral and religious concepts and narratives. Many of his paintings depicted his view of the torments of Hell. Most artists of the day painted pious works of Madonna and Child. On the other hand, Bosch's works disturbed the Pope and many Catholics at the time because of its savage and tormented images. They finally concluded that his works were acceptable because they probably did represent the tortured souls in Pergatory.
Hopefully, finding this cache won't be such torture. It is small, so bring your own writing instrument. Be careful, I found ants... er, rather they found me near this cache.
