Geocache Description:

How lucky are you feeling? This is the first cache from velrahnkoon and Team CrazyPants, and may test your patience. Or you may walk away with a smiley after a few short seconds!

NOTE: The cache is NOT at the indicated location. It is close by, however!



INTRODUCTION

This is the geocaching version of The Shell Game. The shell game is the infamous con game in which you have to pick the location of a pea or other small object hidden under one of several "shells". The vast majority of these games on the street are rigged so that the player will never win, unless the shell man wants you to win..

The geocaching version ALWAYS pays out, as long as you have the patience to search for the pea!


INSTRUCTIONS

At GZ, you will find yourself in the parking lot of a local grocery store chain. Your job is to search the "shells" in the area until you locate the "pea". Sounds easy enough, right? Sure it is! To make your life even easier, we'll give you a boundary for the search. The reference waypoints below, when plotted on a map, will define a search area. The pea is located within this area.


LOGGING REQUIREMENTS

NOW, for the fun part! Once you find the pea, feel free to move it to any other shell in the area. Yep, any other shell, as long as it is within the bounds defined by the reference waypoints. If you move the pea, please leave a hint ("towards the store" or "2 shells east") in your online log so that your fellow cachers don't have to hurt themselves too badly


MISCELLANEOUS

Please rehide the cache as well as you found it. Stealth may be required at certain times as the area can get quite busy. The spoiler is a give-away as to the nature of both the pea and the shells, and a small additional hint as to the pea's initial resting location. Please shoot me an email if you have any questions.
