Der Zirbenweg ist ein Hochgebirgs-Wanderweg knapp oberhalb der Waldgrenze zwischen Patscherkofel und Glungezer mit wunderschöner Aussicht auf die Tuxer Alpen und in das Inntal.
The "Zirbenweg" is a trail in the mountains lying just above the forest line. You can walk from the mountain "Patscherkofel" to the "Glungezer" always at 2.000m meters hight. Wonderful view in the Inntal and the tuxian alps.
Man fährt entweder mit der Patscherkofelbahn (www.patscherkofelbahnen.at) oder der Glungezer-Bahn (www.glungezerbahn.at) bis zur Bergstation und kann dann den Zirbenweg in ca. 2,5h erwandern. Am jeweiligen Endpunkt angekommen, kann man mit der Bahn wieder ins Tal fahren und dann per Shuttle-Bus wieder zurück zum Ausgangspunkt. ACHTUNG: die Betriebszeiten der Bahn beachten, sonst wird die Wanderung deutlich länger!
You can either travel with the "Patscherkofelbahn" (www.patscherkofelbahnen.at) or the Glungezer-Bahn (www.glungezerbahn.at) to the respective top station. You'll need about 2.5h for the hike. At the opposite station you can go down with the cable car and take the bus to the respective parking lot.
CAUTION: please check for the operation time of the cable car, otherwise you'll have to walk down!
