Geocache Description:

This is a series of 6 caches in a short (under 1 mile) route around Higher Whitley.

MiniBD decided he wanted to set a short series of caches in the area that can be completed by cachers of all ages whilst on their summer break.
The area is very quiet and the walk is easy and can be completed easily in under 1 hour.

We have trimmed back nettles and prickles but little cachers still need to be careful.

Parking can be found by the duck pond in Whitley then walk up Dark Lane to this 1st cache. It appears that parking by cache 1 in the series is no longer possible.

The cache is a very small clip box in which there is a log book, small pencil and room for a few small swaps.

I am adding this note as some cachers have experienced the horses between Stage 1 & 2 being very over friendly. I would therefore take care with little cachers but especially if you have a dog with you.

FTF are welcome to take any swap of their choice and FTF certificate.
