Geocache Description:

A hidden memorial just outside the city of Modiin. A short and easy hiking trail takes you around different ancient agriculture structures typical to the area. A high lookout above road 443 is at the peak of the heel which is also the location of the memorial for the medicince corps wars casualties.

The place is easy to reach and right on road 443. You can drive almost until the cache or walk the very short trail. To reach the trail and the monument take road 443 towards Modiin. The entrance is from a dirt road leaving road 443 and is easy to miss so read instructions carefully. You should be alert right after the left turn from road 443 to the Makabim graves (Kivrot Hamakabim). Keep straight towards Modiin but drive slower. Note the big green sign on the right that directs to the Cemetery of Modiin. The right turn you should take to the dirt road is a little after it, right before the next smaller green sign that says Modiin (indicates the industrial area of the city). The dirt road is very good, take the first left that climbs towards the memorial location. You can park at the parking to hike the 250m trail or drive directly to visit the monument.
