Geocache Description:

Conscientious cachers always park safely and legally! There is a Park 'n Ride lot a few hundred yards south of the cache; but one may also park at the end of a dead-end road and walk a much shorter distance through the woods. Follow big game trail west of highway. Because the woods and thick overcast bounced my coords for the 40 minutes I was there, the cache is "hidden" in such a way as to be plainly visible.

True story: When one of my granddaughters was a pre-schooler she loved dolls, and was always very happy to show off her newest family addition. She dragged me up to her bedroom one day and exclaimed, "Look, Gramma! I have a new doll! Isn't she cute?" I agreed that she certainly was, then asked the doll's name. "This is Molly!" she sweetly informed me. I looked around at her large doll family and asked, "But isn't that one Molly? And this one? And...?" "Of course, Gramma!" she said patiently. "They are all named Molly!" I asked, "Then when you call one, do they all come?" Hands on hips, the young lady exclaimed, "Gramma! They all know who they are!"

So this cache is named in honor of all of my young granddaughter's dolls (I wonder if she has any of them left...) The cache has been kindly donated by a pair of generous local cachers whose Canadian Friends donate many cache supplies, although these Friends are not cachers themselves! It was requested that I place the cache so that cavyguy would have yet another easy FTF.

Start-Up swag includes: a nice new gray-and-black screwdriver set for the FTF!

CONGRATULATIONS - lrbmlb, FTF! Enjoy the screwdriver set. (Poor cavyguy...)

Log, pencils, and sharpener; a patriotic doll (who is surely named Molly!); new cassette by John Cox, "Anyday": (I have never heard this cassette nor musician); plastic gray beaded necklace; rain poncho; four sets of assorted coins!; two packs of hockey cards; Dennis Johnson key tag; 2010 tractor pin; metal British Columbia pin; colorful plastic Play Dough tool.

My GPSs agreed pretty closely; I have posted the Map60 coords, with an accuracy of +-35'. The Nuvi, though, did vary up to N 61 22.629 W 149 31.634. It varied a lot more than the Map60.

I saw a really nice hiding spot a few feet to the left of this one, but it looked as if it could still be in use by local inhabitants. I did all of the highway CITO I could manage in one bag and with one hand (dominant hand being in a fresh cast and awaiting with terror the impending removal of orthopedic pins).

If an early finder could take a black Sharpie to the outside GC label before I get back there, I would appreciate it. The pen writing may not last too long.

One may safely hike through the woods or slightly downhill and inside of the guardrails. This is a very pleasant walk on non-posted land. There are beautiful rocks everywhere, too! One may walk easily without bushwhacking, but this may not be a good cache for toddlers unless they are being backpacked. May not be winter friendly.

The cache is placed between two big game trails and just north of the end of the guardrails.
