Our second cache (a lot easier than the first.)
We came back for a walk in one of my favorite places again tonight so we could put our second box out for you to find.. I really don’t get it. You humans go hunting all through the bush and you can’t even eat what you take so much joy in finding. I watch Me tip everything out and then put it all back again.. Whatever!! Its much more fun to just follow your nose. Me tied me up to a tree so she could go and hide her little box in peace but then went out of view behind some trees. I didn’t like that so I decided to teach her a lesson. She thought I’d just sit there for a couple of minutes like we learned to do in school. I knew that if she can’t see me and I don’t come when she calls my name then she uses her emergency word. Then I come running really fast and she gives me the really good rewards like roasted chicken. I felt like chicken today and I knew she had some in her pocket so I slipped my collar and went to hide. Sure enough I heard her calling me but I ignored her until she yelled that magic word “HERE !” And I came crashing through the bushes to slide into a perfect sit at her feet.
A Beagle’s gotta do what a Beagle’s gotta do !! Yum Chicken !
