Geocache Description:

This is a custom cache container so you need to be on the lookout for something very different from a normal cache container. Unlike my other caches there is also a bit of a puzzle to be solved to find the container, so please read the full description.
ALSO PLEASE BRING A PEN. and return everything exactly as you found it.

This cache is in memory of two local characters from the 1950’s. Reginald Ferret was a thief and crook and all round bad egg. He was at last brought to justice in 1955 and sentenced to ten years in the nearby Chelmsford prison, from which he then escaped in 1956.
Sergeant Maximus Pull was a local police officer who successfully found and captured Ferret and put him back in his cage!!
Initial enquiries led Maximus to the village of Cressing where local’s told him that Ferret had links to three Polish sisters who lived nearby. When Maximus interviewed the sisters he spotted a talisman from a past robbery around the middle sisters neck.
Lady luck helped out as while Maximus was at the sisters house the first post arrived and amongst it was a love letter from Ferret!!
He was certain that the middle sister knew where Ferret would be but she obviously loved him and would not say. “She’s just a silly girl really”, he thought. “Obviously smitten by that rascal Ferret.”
But the older sister seemed to be more sensible, completely different; in fact, you might even say they were poles apart. Maximus’s coppers instinct told him that she was the key to extracting the truth about Ferret’s location.
And he was right, the older sister was the key and soon he had the information he needed and Ferret in custody.
