Geocache Description:

A camouflaged tube.

The cache is hidden just off the Sustrans National Cycle Network (NCN) Route 6, which runs from Derby to York (via Nottingham). This path is very popular with cyclists and pedestrians so stealth will be required.

It is opposite the original Station House for Borrowash railway station on the Midland Counties Railway. This building was in use from 1839 to 1871, and is now a private dwelling house.

Also running parallel with the cycle path and the railway is the disused Derby Canal. The canal is being restored by the Derby and Sandiacre Canal Society; it hopes to return the route from Swarkestone (on the Grand Union Canal) to Derby Junction (on the Erewash Canal) to a fully functional waterway.
