Greetings!!! I have lived in Spruce Grove now since November and have enjoyed many of the local caches in the area. I have plenty more to check out but am having to travel a bit more to find them. I imagine that some of you cachers out there are in the same boat so here is my solution.
I've placed a cache in the Spruce Grove area in hopes that it will trigger a frenzy of cache placing activity. Now that I have moved my family here, as of three weeks ago, I am hoping to discover some new caches with my kids.
I have recently set up my Geocaching HQ on Marlboro Dr. and have realized that the amazing trail network near my place has some great hiding spots. My youngest and I spent the morning surveying a great spot for a cache and this is the result.
The cache is in a wooded area that sits adjacent to a meadow of sorts. Lots of wildflowers and towering trees adorn the area and we thought it be a great spot for cachers to come and visit. Lately, I have been fairly bad at circulating trackables so we have started up a Geocoin hub. It helps me get some coins back out there and will also allow us to check out new ones.
So come on Spruce Grove...get out there and place a couple of caches instead of waiting for CARW2011!!!
