A Great Name!!
A cache and dash in one of Dorset's great named villages, on the edge of Bere Regis.
It has such a popular name that recently the residents of Shitterton have forked out for a new stone entrance sign , because people kept stealing the normal road sign. Bere Regis coucil initiated the work, and the residents paid for a Purbeck stone block, that has been concreted to the ground. After spending months without a sign after the latest theft of their sign!
Back in Victorian times the prudish had its name changed to Sitterton but, over the years it reverted back to its original name, that derives from a farm on a stream used as a sewer.
You are looking for a black magnetic nano, so please only intial and date the log for a find, please bring a pencil.
Due to the cache going missing a few times from it's original location, we have moved the cache 20ft and placed it on the sign post alongside the stone village sign, we have updated the hint to make it an easy find.
A parking waypoint is provided, therefore please be respectful to the local residents. It is wheelchair accessible however they may need assistance when retrieving the cache, due to a slight slope at the cache location.
You may need tweezers to retrieve the logbook.
