Twilight Saga - New Moon Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

Accura: This series has run it's course as far as popularity of the franchise goes and because of the small target audience. Due to repeated replacements of three of the four caches in the series I am archiving them as I feel the locations have been very compromised. Thanks to all who have solved the puzzles and have come to find the caches.

Geocache Description:

This cache is not at the above co-ordinates. This is the second of four in this Twilight Series.

This series of Twilight caches was originally conceived, placed and owned by GrandmaLeasFour who have graciously allowed me to adopt them. Thank you to them for a well executed series of puzzle caches. The series has been classed as 3.5D/1.5T as you will need a car and the questions may be difficult.

The following four puzzle caches comprise the full series and should be completed in this order according to the published books:

.....GC2D2T8 Twilight Saga - Twilight
.....GC2D2YH Twilight Saga - New Moon
.....GC2D301 Twilight Saga - Eclipse
.....GC2D30T Twilight Saga - Breaking Dawn

This series was designed to be both a puzzle and multi-cache challenge. Each cache consists of questions that must be answered to fill in the latitude and longitude co-ordinates. Missing co-ordinates for the next cache will be found on the inside lid of this one. Be sure to make a note of them.

To continue with the full series you must have solved, found and retrieved the information from Twilight Saga - Twilight GC2D2T8 - the first puzzle cache in the series. The information contained within that container is necessary to solve this and the remaining puzzles.

To solve the Twilight Saga - New Moon latitude co-ordinates, identify the numbers from the questions below and subsitute into this equation:

Latitude: AA BC.DEF

1. What are the last two digits of the year that Alice and Jasper find Carlisle and join the family? = AA

2. What is the first latitude clue given from the Twilight cache? = B

3. What is the second latitude clue given from the Twilight cache? = C

4. How many letters in the name of the place Bella and Edward spent their honeymoon? = D

5. How many letters in the name to whom the book Eclipse is first dedicated to? = E

6. How many letters in the name of the vampire that founded the Volturi and is their leader? = F

To solve the Twilight Saga - New Moon longitude co-ordinates, identify the numbers from the questions below and subsitute into this equation:

Longitude: ABC DE.FGH

1. Subtract from each other the number of letters of the two vampires first names that leave to find a vampire-human hybrid (no negative numbers). = A

2. Subtract the number of letters of an alternative name for a single blood-sucker from the number of letters in the alternative name for a single shape-shifter. = B

3. How many letters in the first name of the vampire that Jane orders Felix to destroy despite her innocence? = C

4. What is the number of letters in the name of the main movie vamp minus the number of letters in the name of the actor who portrays the vamp in the movie? = D

5. How many minutes did it take for Bella to get across the plaza? = E

6. What is the first longitude clue given from the Twilight cache? = F

7. What is the second longitude clue given from the Twilight cache? = G

8. How many books are in the Twilight Saga series? = H

(The answers have been taken from the book series as much as possible allowing that there may be some discrepancies between the books and the movies. The questions in all 4 caches come from the complete series not just the individual books for each cache.)
