Blackbeard the Pirate

Dead Man’s Chest
Marooning was a common pirate punishement.
After a mutiny, Edward Teach, the notorious Blackbeard, an English pirate, is said to have marooned 15 men on Dead Man’s Chest Island with only a bottle of rum.
Hence the sea shanty:

”15 men on a Dead Man’s Chest,
Yo ho ho, and a bottle of rum!
Drink and the devil had done for the rest,
Yo ho ho, and a bottle of rum!
The mate was fixed by the bosun’s pike
The bosun brained with a marlinspike
And cookey’s throat was marked belike
It had been gripped by fingers ten;
And there they lay, all good dead men
Yo ho ho and a bottle of rum!”

Dead Man's Chest Island is a tiny isle and uninhabited National Park that forms part of the British Virgin Islands in the Caribbean Sea.

THE CACHE:

You are looking for a large camo container with a bountiful booty and a mighty nice FTF Prize.

There is some hiking involved to reach the treasure, as nothin worth plunderin comes easy!

Flip-flops and peg-legs might have some trouble.

Blackbeard says, “Bring only your best treasures to trade!”

Keep a look-out for scallywags & squiffy's.

Bring your eyeglass to enjoy the view from atop the Island as you behold Blackbeard’s Inland Empire below.

Replace the treasure as you found it and leave no trace of your visit.

I have provided the parking coordinates, and a short hike is involved to reach the cache.
