Formerly "Hillside View" cache. This cache is very easy to find and a historic place for All Travellers (esp. TBs,GCs). Easy cache and dash with access for large RVs,etc. You are looking for a LOCKED* Ammo Can, laying hidden like Gardiner's pioneers are. Lock combination is Louis Seymour's BIRTHYEAR-you must have this to open the locked cache!
The town of Gardiner was established in the 1850s and has many historic buildings. Gardiner's pioneers are here, in this cemetery on a hill, with a great view.Among these pioneers is Louis Seymour BORN IN 1872 (YES, 1-8-7-2)*. He was a civic leader, inspired the paperback" Louie of the Lower Umpqua" and was our great grandfather. Gardiner cemetery has grand views, old trees, and old tombs. PLEASE, enjoy your visit, but be respectful of our pioneers final resting place.
