Zur Zeit der Kelten war diese Bergspitze ein Kultzentrum. Im Mittelalter wurde an dieser Stelle eine Burg erbaut, welche während des Bauernkrieges 1625 zerstört wurde.
1645 wurde an der Stelle, an der die Burgkappelle stand, die heute noch bestehende Kirche Maria Trost von Graf Theodorich von Rödern erbaut.

Der Cache liegt etwas abseits der Kirche. Es ist nicht notwendig, querfeldein (außer die letzten Meter) zum Final zu gehen (Absturzgefahr!). Der Kreuzweg führt in der Nähe vorbei.

During the age of the celts this top was a cultural center of them. In medieval times a castle has been built at this place, which has been destroyed in 1625 during the peasant war.
1645 Theodorich von Rödern built this church at the place where the castle-chapel was.

The cache is not directly at the church-site. It is not necessary to go directly (apart from the last meters) to the final location (fall hazard!). The way of the cross leads to it.
