Event registration will be held at Freedom Pavilion at Crooked Creek Lake. Registration will be from 9:00 - 10:00am. Hope to see you all there.
Please join the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Armstrong Educational Trust, HEalthy Armstrong, Crooked Creek Church, Armstrong County Tourist Bureau, the HAM Radio operators, and some expert Geocachers for our 2nd Annual Cashe In Trash Out event. It will be held on National Public Lands Day.
For beginners, we have 12 GPS units available for people that do not have their own, and there will also be a short program explaining a GPS unit and how to use them. If you would like to borrow a GPS please let us know before the event so we can save on efor you. They will be first come first serve.
There will be several caches hidden throughout the park at various difficultities. Trash bags and prizes will be handed out the day of the event.
Feel free to bring a lunch and make use of the picnic areas we have throughout the park.
