ENGLISH:

Husvik is a heavily populated area within the municipality of Tönsberg, approx. 5 km from the town centre. At Husvik you find Husvik School, a primary school for levels 1 to 7.

From Husvik there is a bridge over to the island of Jarlsö, and from Tangen at Husvik there is a ferry connection to Husöy. There are several popular marinas and bathing places at Husvik.

The Cache is hidden close to a lookout point in the Husvik Hill, with a nice view over to the islands of Ormöya, Jarlsö, Husöy as well as to the seaward approaches to Tönsberg.

NORSK:

Husvik er et tettbebygd område i Tønsberg kommune, ca. 5 km øst for Tønsberg sentrum. På Husvik ligger Husvik skole, som er en barneskole for 1-7. klassetrinn med skolefritidsordning.

Fra Husvik er det bro til øya Jarlsø, og fra Tangen ved Husvik er det fergeforbindelse til Husøy. Det ligger også flere populære båthavner og badeplasser på Husvik.

Cachen ligger gjemt ved en utkikkspost i Husvikåsen, med fin utsikt til Ormøya, Jarlsø, Husøy og innseilingen til Tønsberg.
