Keewaydin State Park is on the St. Lawrence River, 1 mile south of Alexandria Bay, NY on Route 12. The parks terrain includes steep, rocky outcroppings between the campsites and the shore line, providing vantage points for watching the ocean-going vessels traversing the river. Boating, fishing and a sheltered marina are available also.
This cache is placed as part of the Great Lakes Seaway Trail Geotrail, loacted within the Thousand Islands/St Lawrence River (SLR) Region. There are 15 caches hidden within the region, and geocachers finding ten or more Great Lakes Seaway Trail Geotrail caches within this region can earn a free Thousand Islands/St. Lawrence River Region Geocoin. $7 day use fee applies to all vehicles entering through the toll booth during the camping seeason.
