The Maymorn entrance to the Pakuratahi Forest popular for walking and mountain biking. Ahead you will walk over the west portal of the Rimutaka Tunnel, the second longest railway tunnel in New Zealand at 8798 m, which passes through the Rimutakas joining Wellington and the Wairarapa.
