Geocache Description:

This bridge is part of the trail that will take you around the entire lake. Once you make it down to this bridge, which isn't really that far from the road, a veteran cacher will be able to find this with no problem.

You will need to park along the road and find one of the many entrances to the trail along the road. We chose the trail leading west from the Mormon Emigrant Trail and was south of the first dam. A few swithbacks headed down hill will get you to ground zero. Really it's a can't miss. It's a short kid friendly hike along a dirt path. Just when you get closer to the cache of course keep the small ones from the edge. We placed this cache on the day we chose to knock out most of the Jenkinson Lake caches. We made the trek around the entire lake in 6.5 hours and covered 12 miles. Granted, we took plenty of turn offs, had lunch breaks and stopped to talk to folks so it took us about twice as long as most would say it should take. But we absoultely had to jump in the lake for a swim it was so gorgeous. You should too!
