This is a short steep walk to a Conejo Valley landmark. Great for families. Wonderful view.
This town landmark features a nonpareil 360 view, and on the way up, as you pass the white posts, note the famous flat-roof houses with atriums (atria?) to the northwest-designed by Eichler, which are the most well-known homes, architecturally speaking, in Thousand Oaks. Stay out of the barbed wire/reservoir area. But do watch out for (and enjoy if you see) rattlers, ticks, aggressive yuccas and, of course, tarantulas (whose venom is really quite mild.
