Numbers.
We are fascinated by them.
Milestones celebrate progress made and goals
reached.
The number 100 denotes a certain
sense of
accomplishment.
To log a "Found It" for this cache
you must have previously:
Logged one hundred Did Not Finds.
Why are so many cachers reluctant to log DNF's? It helps the
cache owner know there might be a problem with a cache, or help the
owner as well as other cache finders get an idea of difficulty. And
there's nothing wrong with being human and sometimes missing the
cache. Log those DNF's and let the record stand. (By the way, if
you log your 101st DNF on this cache, well, let's just call that
ironic.)
If you're not sure how to get your total, there is an easy way,
no need to run a PQ (which won't tell you anyway).
- From your Quickview
- Click on "Geocaches" (2 to the right of Quickview)
- Click on "Didn't find it" (the total number appears right at
the top)
While on that screen, take a screen shot of the top part of the
page showing your username, the number, and at least the last DNF
you had. You can screen shot by either using the snip tool (click
start then search for snip tool) or by holding control and hitting
the print screen, then open paint and hit the paste button. If you
have a Mac, I have no clue. Please post it with your log.
The cache is at the posted coordinates. Since this is in the
woods, there may be poison ivy or thorns.
Cache is a large camo taped jar with a bit of nice swag. there is
no pen in it so BYOP.
Logs without the appropriate picture will be deleted.
