When first built, it was intended for a silk mill, but was never
used as such. Clutton beer was quite famous. Alot of Bristol people
preffered it to Bristol Beer, and many a load was taken to the
city. Visiters from Londonhave been know to take some back with
them. The Brewery was demolished in 1961, and the premises are now
used for a large Highways storage yard.
