Geocache Description:

[SWE]Fastigheten här byggdes 1909 och togs i bruk året därpå som epidemisjukhus för att möta eventuella utbrott av difteri och skarlakansfeber och senare även spanska sjukan.
1928 centraliserades epidemisjukvården och sjukhuset behövdes inte längre. Åren 1929-1964 fungerade det istället som arbetshem för kvinnor.
Under senare år har det fungerat som pensionat och vandrarhem och drivs numera tillsammans med den intilliggande campingplatsen.

Cachen består av ett rör av typen medicinrör. Innehållet är ett informationsblad, loggremsa och penna. GPS-mottagningen är inte helt perfekt här, vilket har höjt svårighetsgraden en aning.
Det är nästan alltid folk i rörelse i området, så försök vara diskret och var noga med att sätta tillbaka den exakt som du fann den.

Förvaltarna av fastigheten är vidtalade så var inte rädda för att snoka runt lite!

[ENG]This estate was built in 1909 and taken in use the year after as an epidemics hospital to meet any possible outbreaks of diphtheria and scarlet fever and later also the spanish flu.
1928 the epidemic health care was centralized and the hospital was no longer needed. During the years 1929-1964 it acted as a women's labour camp.
In later years it has acted as a hostel and boarding house and is nowadays incorporated with the nearby camping.

The cache consist of a tube, about 12 cm long. It contains an info-sheet, logging strip and a pen. The GPS reception is not perfect here and this has raised the level of difficulty a bit.
It is almost always people moving around in the area, so try to be discreet and make sure you leave the canister exactly as you found it.

The owners of the estate has been informed, so don't be afraid to snoop around!
