Geocache Description:

An Ode to Geocaching

The cache is not at the listed coordinates. The poem below, authored by Cache Poet Emeritus Bartholomew Barkfeather (cousin-in-law, removed twice (or should have been)), holds the clues to the cache whereabouts. So, get a glass of wine, sit back, relax, put your feet up by the fire, enjoy the poesy, and find the cache.

The caches hidden in the fields
          Holler at me over time
Reaching out lietmotiv
          Easy as pie
Easy as a pie pan.
          Everywhere muggles
In the way of the cache
          Growing funny like an improv
Hiding everywhere
          Trailing indignation.
Out at night
          Not in the bush
Each step AARRRGH chigger
          Trepidation, ease
Wondering where could it be.
          On to GROUND ZERO!
New coordinates
          Illuminate, Illuminati
No real good fix
Egad, I need to find it! Go!
Stealth required, hither and yon
          In urban setting peace,
X marks the spot, coords spot on
          Simple, easy as pi.
Eventually the log I sign.
          Very clever…very nice hide
Eagle eyes will spot.
          Nevermind, quoth the Raven,
I got another Smiley Face!
The first and last letters of each line.

There is a FTF prize.
