Cache is located along the Tieton River Nature trail between Sgt Mac's "Cross the River Cache" and "Between the River Crossings" geocaches. This is a wonderful trail and is easy enough for even the kids and older folks to enjoy. We made the hike during the summer with temperatures in the upper 80s without any problems as the trail winds its way in and out of plentiful shade areas. There is often a cooler breeze blowing down the river canyon which also aids cachers in warmer months. Terrain is not bad at all and the difficulty rating is based more on the overall length of the trail system than anything else. You may need to do just a bit of scrambling near the GZ though. Be sure to carry plenty of water and watch for snakes and ticks during the warmer months.
Parking is available at the Quonset hut parking area but the new Discovery Pass (or your existing WDFW permit for these areas ONLY) is required. There is a little bit of non-permit parking nearby but it's near the highway.
