Geocache Description:

A micro cache at the beautiful church of Túrony.

Túrony is a small village with 286 inhabitants at the northern foot of the Villány Mountains. The origins of the settlement go back to the Árpádian age. You can find a beautiful 13th century Gothic Calvinist church there. The tower of the church is Baroque. The wooden ceiling of the church was decorated with painted Hungarian ornaments in the 18th century.
