Geocache Description:

This is our first cache so please excuse any mistakes made along the way.
The Cache is hidden within the woods of Heath Park. The cache is not too far from a path and you don't need to go into the woods.

Heath Park forms an important 'green lung' in the northern suburbs. It is a large area of 37 hectares containing pitches, woodlands, ponds and recreational facilities. The administrative centre of the Parks Service is also located in the park.

An enthusiastic band of local residents have formed a Friends' Group who work with Cardiff Council to further improve the park. The park remains very popular as there is so much space and so many things to do.
There is a mini adventure playground, tennis and even a 'Pitch and put' golf course.
During summer, once a month the miniture railway has open days for all the family.
