Geocache Description:

For 100 years, the Boy Scouts of America has helped youth become more than they ever thought possible. And we'll continue that journey in the next century.

Boy Scouts Active

In the Boy Scout program, boys (ages 11-17) learn and grow through the experiences of camping, hiking, building projects, and community service. Scouting fosters self-esteem, a sense of value and belonging, a sense of accountability, and teamwork. It’s also fun!

This park is a small piece of mother nature that is enjoyed by many. It is home to many people who enjoy camping and the outdoors. There are many activities to enjoy here such as, fishing, swimming, picnicing, boating, play area for kids, basketball, hiking and just enjoying the different types of wildlife such as, deer, racoons, squirrel, ground hogs, birds and many others. There is also a delicious place to get some great food. You can also rent a cabin if you would like to spend a few days.
You will need to hike down a hill and along a path about 480 feet. The path is a little grown up.

Please bring a pencil to sign the log and PLEASE RE-HIDE WELL, so other cachers/Scouts can have the challenge of finding it. There are 5 other caches in this park if you would like to find them. Remember: LEAVE THIS AREA AS YOU FOUND IT OUR BETTER!

In addition to this cache, the Ohio River Valley Council has hidden four other caches that highlight the "Treasures of Scouting", 5 for the "pillars Of Scouting" and twelve "Cache to Eagle" caches that highlight projects within the 12 districts of the Ohio River Vally Council. You can locate these caches on geocaching.com by searching "Hidden by Username" with ORVC or visit the Ohio River Valley Council Facebook page or Council website for more details and list of the other Cache to Eagle cache locations.
