Footbridge Fanatic Traditional Cache

This geocache is located about half a kilometre away from St Thomas Church in Hanwood. There are a range of footpaths leading to the cache site - the most direct walk is down a small lane (Church Lane) which leads passed residential back gardens and over the rebrook.
This cache is situated near 2nd & 4th AD century moats which once formed Roman Villa's and bathhouses, more of which can be located in Chapel Field. Near cache site are ordinate survey maps showing you the location of these moats. If you're feeling inquisitive and a little adventurous I suggest you explore the area, there are some lovely scenic views and historical sites!
