Wanted to place this cache a little closer to it's namesake sculpture, a public art created by Donal Hord, and dedicated in 1939. .Unfortunately that placed it too close to another cache. Did manage to get it on the same property, at least.:) This is the second cache dedicated to the late Donal Hord, one of America's greatest sculptors, best known for his monumental stone figures. He left an impressive legacy in San Diego, downtown, in Balboa Park and even on the campus of San Diego State University. Had a terrain of 1 for a while, now a terrain of 1.5.
