While Geocaching.com would like to continue to hold the location for you, doing so blocks other cachers from placing caches in the area. We feel that this cache has been down for a period of time exceeding what is reasonable for the area, and thus I regretfully must archive it.

If you are able to get out and replace the cache, simply drop me a note and let me know the GC waypoint number of the cache or better yet, the URL of the cache page. I will be more than happy to take a look at it to see if it is still is within the guidelines of the Geocaching.com website for cache placement and posting.

Geocache Description:

Located on the East branch of the Escanaba River.

The cache is located near the East branch of the Escanaba River, at a place commonly called 2nd Falls. Please watch your step on the rocks, especially after a rain, they can be very slippery. I hope everyone enjoys the short hike and the view of the river. For those of you who like to fish, there are Brook, Rainbow and Brown trout in this river so take along your fishing pole or your fly rod. ENJOY!!
