Pirate Looks At 40 Traditional Cache
RipKam: Because I no longer cache on a regular basis and because I no longer live near this cache, I am archiving it. Pirate 4 Hire has turned 50 and it’s time to move on.

Mother, mother ocean, I have heard you call.
Wanted to sail upon your waters,
since I was three feet tall.
You've seen it all, you've seen it all.
“Pirate Looks at 40” – Song & Lyrics by Jimmy Buffett
This cache is to celebrate my favorite pirate’s birthday. Pirate 4 Hire (a.k.a. my favorite pirate) receives so much enjoyment from geocaching, that I found it fitting to spread the fun to others as a way to celebrate his birthday. So even though his Big 4-0 birthday will have passed by the time you find this cache, post Pirate 4 Hire a birthday greeting as you officially log the cache. It’s the gift that will keep on giving!!
The cache is located in the very peaceful Washington Park Cemetery. Please be respectful of the area and no night caching. You’ll find that it’s very close to a duck feeding area, so watch your step as the ground is covered in duck “leavings”.
You’ll be looking for a camouflaged film canister. Bring your own pen. Two of the birthday boy’s path tags have been placed for the FTF prize. Happy caching…and Happy Birthday Pirate 4 Hire!!!
