A sneaky sign-only cache hidden in an extreme muggle zone in the heart of the Avondale Community.
We moved into this community about 3 years ago when we first moved to Canada from the United Arab Emirates where we'd been living for the past 20 years. I'm no suburbanite myself, but I enjoy the neighbourhood's pleasant location that combines both the hustle and bustle of Yonge Street and the 401, and the quietness of North York.
Back to the cache now, though. It's part of my Monty Python named cache hides around the neighbourhood, the first being SPAM and the now-archived Dead Parrot and How Not To Be Seen. This one's called "Obviously!" because as soon as you reach the area which your GPS will lead you to, you'll realize just how obvious this cache hide is.
Stealth is recommended as you're surrounded by residents and businesses, some of which are open till the late hours of the evening and in the case of the grocery store, 24 hours a day. This little plaza is popular with the neighbourhood revelers and many people can be found here enjoying some quiet time at any given time in the day or night.
Placement of the cache, like I said, is obvious, but replacing it should take a bit of care and calculation as it's just as easy to misplace or (and break) it is to find.
As stated before, this cache is sign only, so bring your own writing implement and please be careful with replacing it just the way it was. You'll see why when you find it. Co-ordinates are accurate up to 13m.
