Geocache Description:

Located on the banks of Lewis and Clark lake near the Bon Homme – Yankton Water District intake/pumping station.

This cache is definitely off the beaten path. The cache is a 1.7qt. clear rubbermaid container located near an abandoned and dilapidated chalk rock house. The road should be fine for 2wd until the weather gets bad and then 4wd would be advised. In severe weather, the road may become impassable. Proceed past the second cattle guard. This is not located on private property.

The original cache included.

Logbook, Pencils and Pencil Sharpener
Hallmark Maxine sticky notes
Crayola PittyPat Cat
Easter egg
Harry Potter stickers
Mini Carabiner
Mini Pocket Knife
NASCAR Bottle opener
Buckeye
Stuffed dog
Patriotic stickers

11/26/2004 The original rubbermaid container has been replaced by an ammo can.

Although there are plenty of No Trespassing signs, we were told by the land owner that there was no problem using the road to access state ground to the south (after the second cattle guard). Just stay on the road until then.
